Food waste is terrible for the environment and our pockets. We aim to reduce the amount of food waste reaching landfill sites. We bridge excess food and hungry people through our community fridges, while also making positive steps towards sustainability within the community.

We have been able to reduce food waste by more than 2.5 tonnes in less than a year just through one fridge. It’s working just like it should. Seeing more fridges starting up is a real testament to the effectiveness of this model.
I wasn’t able to work ever since the pandemic started. I needed some way to feed myself. I came to know about the presence of a community fridge in my neighbourhood. I come, open up the fridge, and there’s food there. I think that’s the best thing ever.
These fridges foster a spirit of sharing and mutual support within the community, reducing food waste and helping to make a positive social impact. What I like the most is they create a stronger link between those in need and those who want to help.
